What happens during the first consultation?
We sit down with you in a private, comfortable setting and listen. You share as much or as little as you wish. We then explain the relevant aspects of your situation in plain terms and outline some possible directions, leaving the next steps entirely with you.
Is everything I share kept private?
Yes. Legal professional privilege applies, meaning what you share with us is protected. We take confidentiality seriously and will not share your information with any third party without your knowledge and agreement.
Do you handle matters under both civil and syariah family law?
Our focus is on civil family law matters in Malaysia. We are happy to discuss your circumstances and, where appropriate, direct you to the right avenue for your situation during your initial consultation.
How long does reaching a family arrangement usually take?
Every family's circumstances are different, so there is no single answer. Where both parties are willing to cooperate, arrangements can often be reached within a few weeks. We will give you a clearer picture once we understand your situation.
What are the fees for your services?
Our consultation starts at RM 236, family agreements from RM 285, and representation matters from RM 328. We discuss all fees openly before any engagement, so there are no surprises. Please reach out if you'd like to know more.
